2:55pm:
[To Gryffindor and DA members alike]
I'd like to set up a meeting, preferably tonight, so that we can all get together and discuss some things that have been brought to my attention. As well as some of my more recent comments. If not tonight, then it will be tomorrow night. Please try to be there.

2:35am:
[To Gryffindors] Now I understand I'm not your Head Boy, that Ron is; so whatever I say here is strictly unofficial, but I do feel it at least needs to be said. Obviously all of us are our own individuals, and I have no intention of taking that away from anyone here, at all. All I'm making is a simple request.
It has come to my attention personally, that there have been some Gryffindors attacking Slytherin, for apparently no reason at all. And vice versa of course. On our part I'd like to say, let's try and stop this please? If nothing else, we need to try and provide some sort of civility in our own common room, so we can live there without fear of retribution. Plus, we have to live with the snakes, let's make the best of it.
Also, attacking someone is not the Gryffindor way, defending and fighting courageously is. We're all friends of course, and I don't demand anything of you. But as a friend I simply make this request. We've all unfortunately seen what happens in the past when we become... split. Unfortunately, we've seen the kidnapping of a young girl, who was killed. I don't know any deep meanings behind it, but I know that it shows us we're all still in danger. As a friend, and a house-mate, I ask that we all try to be civil with Slytherin, so as to minimize our enemies in this tough time.
Not to mention, we'll beat them up on the Quidditch Field instead, to show our might.
By the way, don't think this request is made to just us, I know that there are some Slytherin telling the snakes to be nicer to us too. However if someone attacks? Then it's fair game!

I think the Headmistress is right, and the sorting hat, and that all houses need to come together and try living in peace. Friendly competition, not so much outright hatred. Obviously certain houses get along better than others, so on my own, I personally will say that I'll do my very best to, in fact, be friendly at least towards Slytherin.
